Turning 31

I celebrated my birthday a few days before the actual date with some friends. On my actual birthday, being on a Tuesday, I initially planned to go to Disneyland but couldn’t find anyone who wanted to go (on a Tuesday -taking time off from work) with me. Which bummed me out but oh whale.

Since the fun-filled DLand day I imagined in my head was scratched, I instead spent the day eating really good food, shopping and getting a massage that a couple of my awesome friends gifted me.

I started the day wearing a dress that I have yet to wear out in public (which is still true to this day since I changed into this before leaving the house. πŸ‘‡πŸ»πŸ‘‡πŸ»πŸ‘‡πŸ»πŸ‘‡πŸ»

For breakfast I ate a banana foster crepe with ice cream.

And potatoes. πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚

Walked it off at ikea and I had to share the fun items (well fun to me) that I bought that day. And if you couldn’t tell already, I do about 90% of my shopping online, so buying/finding these items in person exacted instant gratification. 😊😊😊

IMG_3461Β Since I drink tea like everyday, I’ve been wanting a cute mug and found it at IKEA! It comes in all white or this pale pink with white on the inside.

IMG_3460Β This plastic filigree frame that I truly adore.

This cute plastic oval frame.

Then I walked some more at the beach. Β (which was pretty perfect).

IMG_3466Shops on Main Street in Huntington Beach were having stellar sidewalk sales. Totes recommend!

I found these cute Volcom sandals on sale for 40% off!

And my first pair of Tom’s for 40% off in gold.

Dinner was bomb poke from North Shore Poke in HB.

IMG_3465Β Then I ate some Neapolitan cake that a dear friend gifted me. Kinda bummed that I didn’t blow out any candles this year but I also hate the fact that when done so, saliva is also blown all over tha cake.
IMG_3464Β Then I ended the day with deliciousness from Rita’s. (Duh)
